Ball State University Singers Website Re-design

Work Performed

The Ball State University Singers used their website to advertise and market the organization. The site's intent was to be used as a message board for cast members to discuss rehearsal materials, assignments, dates and call times. However, because the existing website was created through static—html pages, a student familiar with HTML markup was always required to make updates to the site. This issue was fixed by installing the Wordpress CMS framework. The site was themed with a custom template designed for the organization, allowing the director and any student with admin privileges to make updates to the site without any prior knowledge of HTML.

The new site was designed around a Wordpress template. Design changes were made in Adobe Photoshop and hand–coded into the existing PHP of the template.
